You can ask us to delete your MacroDish account and the data associated with it at any time. You do not need to have the app installed to make this request.
Email sharp.applications2026@outlook.com with the subject line “Delete my MacroDish account”.
Please send it from the email address you use to sign in. That is how we verify the request is really yours — we will not delete an account on the word of a different address. If you can no longer access that mailbox, write to us anyway and we will find another way to verify you.
We confirm by email once the deletion is complete. Requests are actioned within 30 days, and normally much sooner.
Deleting your account removes all of the following permanently:

| Technical logs of AI food lookups | Your identifier is removed, so the remaining record can no longer be linked to you. These logs are kept in that anonymous form for abuse prevention and cost control. |
| Nutrition information for foods | Our food database is shared by all users and is not personal data — it records that, say, a banana has 105 kcal, not that you ate one. Nutrition entries created while resolving your meals remain available to everyone. |
| Anonymous aggregate averages | The “global average” shown on the chart is a statistic computed across all users. Once your data is removed you no longer contribute to it, and the remaining figures cannot identify you or anyone else. |
| Backups | Encrypted backups may retain a copy for a short period before being rotated out. They are never used to restore a deleted account. |
Deletion is permanent. Your meal history cannot be recovered afterwards, and signing up again later creates a brand-new, empty account.
If you ever hold a paid subscription, deleting your account does not cancel it. Subscriptions are billed by Google Play and must be cancelled in the Play Store’s subscriptions settings, otherwise billing continues.
